Gelocast elastic is a cellulose-based, zinc gel, semi-rigid support and compression bandage primarily used for the treatment of venous diseases. 

Gelocast elastic consists of an elastic crepe bandage coated with zinc oxide gel.  The zinc gel mass has a creamy consistency which allows rapid and neat application.  After quickly drying, the badage converts into a semi-rigid state and produces a low resting pressure and a high working pressure. 

Gelocast elastic is supplied in sterile sachets which give a long shelf life.
